About the Photog

I truly believe I have the best clients in the world!

High School Seniors are so much fun to work with I love and making them feel like a star for the day.

I'm inspired by bright colors and fashion mags (W and Voge can be found laying around the studio!)

I love all kinds of art and have my degree in Studio Art from William Woods University.

I'm addicted to coffee. I'll admit that the gals at Grab-a-Java have my large Vanilla Nut Creme ready to go every morning when I pull in!

Fabulous shoes are my Soul-Thing. I need a bigger closet to house my collection of heels.

My cat Gigi was rescued from a snowdrift last Novemer. She's adorable!

I love my fam and friends and feel so blessed to have their support!

Amanda 2010 Senior Model | Testimonial

I adored working with all of my 2010 Senior Models and Amanda was no exception! A senior from Glenwood, she is actively involved in her church and wants to become a teacher. For one of her sessions, I traveled to her little country church and photographed her reading and playing with the Sunday School kids she works with. I wanted to share what her lovely mother had to say about their experience (I teared up when I received her email!):

“I was browsing your blog for latest pictures of Amanda and WOW!  I know several of the girls on your blog; you have captured each individual’s personality and spirit. I have never seen such true-to-life (or at least personality) in photos.  I thought I would test my theory and view other sites — I was right; I am incredibly impressed with your work, and with you as a person.  Amanda had several young children in one of her shoots and my youngest daughter tagged-along to both sessions. You treated each individual with the utmost respect and made it fun for all involved! I was surprised how well you communicated with Katie and made her part of the evening.  I think others would have asked to have her removed from the “happenings,” but you let her be a part of it, and made it a special day for her as well.  Katie told me later that evening that you “inspired her and she wants to be a photographer.” Oh, and mark your calendar for nine years from now, because Katie wants you to take her senior pictures. I  greatly appreciate your professionalism and character, and love for what you do — it shows!  Our family has worked with many photographers and you are by far the best!!  You will go far in this business, and I wish you much happiness and success in the future.”

If you would like more information about becoming a 2011 Senior Model, please fill out the application (the deadline is this Sunday, March 14th).
