I’m thrilled to be launching the new NBPstudio blog! In an effort to separate my boudoir photography from portrait photography, I have created two distinct websites and blogs to cater to all of my clients.
I love to focus on my clients, spend time with them and get to know them as individuals. For me, weddings are difficult to shoot because I do not have that one on one time as I do with portraits. Therein the reason I only shoot a few weddings (if any) a year. When Sara and Brian approached me to photograph their day, I was ecstatic. Because I have a personal connection to their family, I felt as if I had the “inside scoop” and could capture some beautiful and intimate moments.
One of my favorites from the wedding has nothing to do with the couple (sorry Brian!) but the love of a family. Sara’s cousin Kim had just finished her last round of radiation and was not sure if she would be able to make it to the wedding. Sara’s eyes lit up when she heard Kim had arrived to the ceremony. At the reception, Sarah dedicated a song to this beautiful cancer survivor and hugged her tightly. It was breathtaking to see the love and emotion between them as they celebrated Kim’s health
